You are all aware of the global pandemic of COVID-19 Coronavirus and of the condition that we are experiencing, in particular in Italy. You also know that the BBB Bari Symposium is scheduled for the end of September, which is why the conference at the moment has not yet been cancelled.
The members of the Organizing Committee, in agreement with Public Health authorities guidelines for large gatherings and conventions, is going to look closely at the next six weeks, monitoring the worldwide situation, and obviously, if any kind of risk is deemed likely to remain, the Symposium will be cancelled.
I still hope that it will be not necessary, although at this black moment in time it seems the most probable scenario.
With all my very best regards,
