IBBS is affiliated to Fluids and Barriers of the CNS (FBCNS). As an open access and community-focussed journal, FBCNS provides a dedicated platform to share research encompassing all molecular, physiological, pathological and pharmacological aspects of brain fluids and barrier systems and their roles in neurological disorders. The journal offers detailed and constructive peer-review and brings together basic science and clinical experts to promote synthesis, dialogue and translational research.
Members of IBBS are eligible for a 15% discount on the article-processing charge when publishing with FBCNS. Upon acceptance, during completion of the publishing agreement, members can select their affiliation with IBBS on the ‘journal partners’ page. Once membership is confirmed, the 15% discount will be automatically applied.
In addition to publishing proceedings following conferences in our field, the journal is also proud to sponsor a number of travel bursaries and young investigator awards.
