The BBBelgium initiative is thrilled to announce the 3rd Belgian Brain Barriers Symposium, set to take place on October 14, 2024. Following the success of our past gatherings in Hasselt and Leuven, we are meeting this year in the vibrant city of Ghent, hosted at the VIB-Inflammation Research Center (Technologiepark-Zwijnaarde 71).
Save the date for an enriching day dedicated to breaking barriers in brain research, as we provide a platform for both local and international young researchers to showcase their work, and establishing valuable connections in the brain barriers field.
Highlights of the program will include:
- Two keynote lectures by Gijs Kooij (Amsterdam UMC, NL) and Laura Pellegrini (King’s College London, UK).
- Engaging oral and poster presentations by young investigators.
- A networking reception providing opportunities to connect with keynote speakers and industry scientists.
