A new position is available for a PhD thesis in the “Fluids and Barriers of the CNS- FLUID” team and “Brain interface exploratory facility” BIP at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (France).
The project mainly aims at developing and characterizing an in vitro model of primate blood-brain barrier adapted to new generation drug delivery studies.
As a PhD student you will be in charge of optimizing the culture/coculture conditions, characterize the model for canonical barrier functions, responsiveness to pathological stresses, and for receptors that can be targeted for cerebral delivery of therapeutic proteins.
Further details are available in the pdf document.
