We have been closely monitoring the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic as we remain committed to making all adjustments necessary to provide a safe environment for the BBB community to gather during the CVB meeting. In this regard, CVB2021 organizing committee along with IBBS has decided to withdraw the CVB2021 and rescheduled it for 2023. This hard decision was made out of an abundance of caution as well as augmented uncertainty that makes travel planning impossible. We all also agree that a virtual platform will not fulfil required criteria for an interactive and suitable for all time zones CVB meeting.
Uppsala University CVB organizing committee is willing to run the meeting in June 18 – 22, 2023 in Uppsala. It is our intent to try to keep the sessions as they have been outlined in the program. Yet, the agenda may be subject to changes dictated by the timing of breakthroughs, and availability of speakers. Please, follow the website www.cvb2023.com for updates.
