Dear IBBS Colleagues, It is with profound sadness that we wish to notify you of the recent passing of Professor Edward A. Neuwelt on February 10, 2026 at the age of 77.
The 2nd Barcelona Blood Brain Barrier (B4) conference organized by Giuseppe Battaglia, Daniel Gonzalez-Carter and Benjami Oller Slvia from IBEC and IQS Barcelona, respectively, took place from October 1-3, 2025.
