Postdoctoral Scientist Position to Study Mechanisms of Leukocyte Extravasation Across Postcapillary Venules using Intravital Microscopy
Salary according to E13
Three year, Full-Time Position 

The successful applicant will investigate mechanisms of leukocyte extravasation across postcapillary venules, with focus on cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Focus will be on identification of immune cell-specific mechanisms and the development of intravital fluorescence imaging techniques, combined with in vitro microchannel systems to mimic the physical constraints encountered by extravasating cells.

The applicant should have some experience with immunology, immunological techniques and inflammatory models. In addition, basic knowledge in biochemistry and cell biology is beneficial. The position is available commencing April 1st, 2020, for 3 years initially, with the possibility of extension and is expected to contribute to teaching of preclinical Biochemistry to medical and dentistry students.
