A Postdoctoral Research or Research Assistant position is available in the Department Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg SPH in Baltimore, MD, USA.
We are using multidisciplinary approaches to study mechanisms of activation of the blood brain barrier (BBB) endothelium in Cerebral Malaria. Techniques include but are not limited to in-vitro cell culture models, intracellular signaling, RT-PCR, microarray and computational/analytical approaches.
Experience with confocal microscopy is a plus. This project involves various local and international collaborations. Opportunities exist to attend scientific and/or working meetings.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Enthusiastic and qualified individuals with a background and/or experience in one or more of the following areas are sought.
