A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Joe Nicolazzo at Monash University, Australia.

The post-doctoral position will involve a number of projects, both academic in nature and in collaboration with industrial partners, focusing on the central nervous system (CNS) exposure of therapeutic entities, approaches to manipulate the blood-brain barrier (BBB) for the purposes of CNS drug delivery and reversal of neurodegenerative diseases, and assessment of pharmacokinetics of novel drugs and drug formulations.

The research projects will involve experiments utilising animal models of disease, in vitro cell culture, pharmaceutical analysis and imaging modalities.

The post-doctoral fellow will be exposed to national collaborative partners (academic and industrial) and will have an opportunity to publish findings in internationally-recognised journals.
