DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 03, 2023
ABSTRACT DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

After a successful first edition in Hasselt, we are pleased to announce the second edition of the Brain Barriers Belgium (BBBelgium) event that will take place on 13 November 2023 in Leuven.

This symposium is organized as a satellite event preceding the VIB conference 'Periphery-brain Interplay and CNS Disease' and aims to bring together scientists working in the barriers of the central nervous system (CNS) research field. It offers a great opportunity for students and young investigators to exchange recent knowledge and ideas on brain barrier research and to interact with experts in the field.

The program will consist of keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations of young investigators and a networking reception where there will be the opportunity to connect with keynote speakers and industry scientists. We strongly encourage young researchers to submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation. This is a great opportunity to showcase your research and get feedback from experts in the field.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:

Leveraging physiology and engineering for drug delivery to the brain: taking antibodies, enzymes and other proteins to the final frontier
